My cheapass Logitech Driving Force GT works without a hassle =/ You got the stupid Logitech software you have to install on your PC? I know I had troubles until I installed it even though it actually doesn't work lol.

and im back...well that was really interesting

set the track to bathurst (of course) and had a quick lap around with the atom supercharged. Was only using joystick for now cause i cbf getting the g27 out at the moment, holy moly its hard with the joystick.

then i took me a small while to work out how to make it a proper race, i saw the arrow to increase the number of vehicles, and was surprised when it went about 12, then, 20, then 30... OMG 36 cars on the track in total!

so i set the other opponent to random, put myself at the back of the grid and literally LOLd from the pileup of 34 cares, initiated by the 2 or 3 go karts at the front with 400hp+ machines behind trying their best to get through.

liking so far :D

Haha $tubbsy - sounds interesting! I might have to give this a spin in the near future and see how it fairs, though just got a PS3 and GT5 (at last) so giving that some love at the moment, as well as dipping my toes back into LFS.

When the AI aren't crashing, how do they go, say in comparison to rFactor (which I personally thought was woeful AI).

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE.

Mitsubishi Evo range is now fully licensed for C.A.R.S

Project CARS will be including three different road-going Lancer Evo models as the Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition, the Evo IX FQ 360 and the Evo X FQ 400 are on their way into the title

Project CARS will include three different models starting with the Lancer Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition. Named in honor of four-time World Rally Champion Tommi Mäkinen, the car is powered by a 280hp version of the two-liter turbo and comes with several special features that set it apart from regular Evo VI models.

finally got the wheel setup again on the good comp.... loving the feel of some of the cars :D

how have you guys been going with FPS? im struggling - which is surprising on my dual 6970s... that's using the DX11 version tho... i'm about to fire up the dx9 version and see how that runs.

edit: doesn't seem to be making any difference... getting a lot of texture flickering also which is annoying. ><

DX11 runs okay for me, dx9 runs great. running with gtx480 though.. could be a driver issue?

Those screenshots are looking mighty impressive :)

I'll be needing an upgrade to my PC before I can test out this game, but that gives it time to develop along, and hopefully when I have gone through with the upgrades this will have really progressed well.
