Fair question

, took me a little while to work it out before I decided to jump in on the purchase. Has been worth it

So, the point? You get to join in right now, play new builds at a very frequent rate (more info
here).
If your the kinda guy who has lots of feedback, voice the hell out of it

. You have the ability to shape the game as you see it and if possible you can help contribute on a development level if that's your thing.
Most people are probably fine with the Team Member or Junior tool packs, if you strictly just want the game and at a reduced cost right now. Then that's for you

.
I'm hopeful that we see this launch as a full retail game. One day in the future I'll be happy knowing I got in early and not only saved some money, but actually helped get the game released by funding it in some way during development

.
The feature set is constantly changing and once you have access to the forum you will start to see that this game is a bit of a "wish list" in the racing sim game world.
People make suggestions, devs/community agree. A few weeks or months later, it's done

I guess over the last few years when I play other racing games I'm never shocked when I see fans having a whine and saying "if only it had X or Y feature, it would be better" or "god damn, why wont it support my wheel". This game kicks that in the face and does it, then gets on with the job of continuing to expand further.
I really hope development on this never
finishes, just continues in a similar way to how Live For Speed works.
Yeah, just have a read
