Note: 2008 C++ Runtimes SP1 required (included with installer).

I'm not sure about anyone else but I found the physics odd and couldn't set up my steering wheel. And still seems the cars tacho is glitching out from the video.

hmm...I've never noticed the tacho glitch, I listen to the sound of the engine to shift gears. Anyway im pumped for this. Track evolution, real time weather, visible tire degradation and an improved UI are just some of the new features. They have hinted at some F1 inclusions too, but nothing confirmed yet.

The tacho isn't a glitch lol, pretty sure they're like that so the optimal shift point is in the 12 o'clock position, so you don't have to look at it.

Yeah, was gonna say that.. it's like the skip-barber's tacho in iRacing.


I'll be interested in this.. it might take a few years to approach the level of modding that the first rFactor got, but it will be starting from a much prettier base. And seeing as I have a baby on the way, it could be the cheaper option than maintaining my iRacing sub!

I have the Beta, the FFB once set right is awesome...fantastic feeling from it with the 60's F1 at Spa! Cant wait for the full game and V8 supercar/bathurst mods lol
Some GFX need a bit of work....like DX10/11 at least...and the cardboard cutout track spectators might as well not be there they are that bad looking!
Alot of improvements to come in the future though...it will evolve!
