Album/Band Cover Generator

Unread postby Jnr » 17 Jun 12, 4:31 pm

Saw this game on another forum, haven't seen it anywhere here, so let's bring it over.

How to play

1 - Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” Third picture, no matter what ...it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar (picnik.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together.

To save time you can just click the following links.
It's easier than navigating the address bars:

Here was my attempt.

Err, you have to put it all together and make it look like a cover.
ie My post.

It's a good criticism of album art. In many cases you can just produce something that makes sense artistically by doing something completely random.
