No idea. I use some fancy coding to get a particular effect, and Chrome doesn't really like it much. I've learned to avoid the problem though.

Didn't firefox do this first? If not disregard. You can still do it though. And if you don't want shared bookmarks don't share accounts... simple :P

You don't realize How much you don't know until your five year old starts asking why.

quite possibly, but I experienced it first on Chrome so they get the credit :P

Honestly, 90% of it comes down to start-up time. When I first tried Chrome it went from clicking the shortcut to ready-to-rock in probably a tenth of the time it took Firefox at the time and it was gg immediately.

I do a lot of web development.

Chrome is better than Firefox in many ways, though both have very similar abilities. Better, in this instance, is usually faster .. but I find it's also more responsive overall and less of a memory hog. This does change depending on what plugins you use, but a prime example is the firebug plugin for firefox. In Chrome, that **** is built in and doesn't suffer plugin-itus.

All in all, Chrome is my go-to browser. Unless I need to use firefox, and there are times when I do, but that's usually a site-specific thing.
