Same as me really. Though strangely i used to easily live off 3 - 4 hours sleep while going to school.

I can get up, I don't enjoy it but I can/do. I'm not the kind of person that ignores the alarm, or snoozes it 50 times then ends up late for work. If the alarm goes off at 0500, I roll out of bed turn it off and once the body is in motion the brain catches up slowly :P

on a day off however.. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz *snooze x50*

My waking up cycle tends to go something like this:

Sleep -> Wake up, shut off alarm (as opposed to snooze) -> Sleep some more -> Wake up -> Actually wake up -> Try and fail to go back to sleep -> Get out of bed. :P

Most of the time I only get one day off in a row, so I'll go from a 6AM start, then one day off, back onto a 6AM start.. it's not worth totally destroying my sleeping habits :(

ive always felt ill sleep when im dead. time is a-wasting.
however, with a little one, even that is a stretch and i occasionally pine for a nap. then i realise what a waste of time that would be.

on a much grimmer and sadder note, one of our employees tried taking his life yesterday at his home. hoping he gets the support he needs from the govt/hospital/councillers etc. weve given him two weeks off paid and more. poor **** has had such a tough life. in his late 40s.

get help people if you feel depressed.

That sucks MT, suicide is a **** of a thing :/

I thought about going to the local Mens Shed, seems like it would be a good place to meet some people, it's essentially a hang out/support group for guys, you can go and build things or help out doing odds and ends. Might be nice.

I just realized this thread has exactly half as many pages as the Ban the Person Above You thread.
