Anyone else notice just how many foreign people "facebook like" GON on the main page? Just plain english speakers (let alone anyone credibly Australian) seem to be in the minority. For an english speaking website, that's a bit sus.

The rats are back. I can squeal sorta like a girl cross yelping dog cross skipping record cross like a ****. 6 foot grown man, 30 years old, did not expect a rat to come through a hole that the smoke detector covers in the house I rent the moment I decide to change the batteries.

I really need a cuddle or my mum right now. I totally pooped my pants, if there is a 'god', that was not really funny having that rat come flying out. I hate everything right now. Everything.

Why the hell did I wake up and decide to change the smoke detector batteries? Why did a rat appear? I want my mum. I'm still freakin out, I need a sedative.

Also, it's not funny either. If my heart rate doesnt calm down I'm gonna have a heart attack.

Man, it'll be funny one day. But Christ, it's been 30min and I'm still jumpy. I've had panic attacks when I had some mental issues, but ****. I'm still really on edge. No one knows me in real life here so I can be a total sook. Can't believe how much I'm shaking.

Ha, I probably wouldn't be able to sleep after that. I moved into a house years ago, and at night I could hear rats come down into the wall, right where my bed head was. I didn't sleep in that room again until I had pest control come and deal with it. Even after I knew they were gone I would get spooked by the smallest sound near that wall. Rats are just plain freaky. Having one jump out of a hole at me would have me running straight through the nearest door :)

I don't really have a problem with rats, just didn't expect it. I've been applying for trainee pest control jobs, not a good sign if i freak out at rat and thats the only career that interests me since quitting my job back in feb. I do see why my counsellor termed me as 'hard to live with' now, i wake up and do random stuff. Like mop the floors, change batteries and stuff.

Oh there is no way I could work in pest control!

.. And well there is far worse things you could be doing randomly than mopping or changing batteries, just don't involve surprise ninja attack rats in them in future ;)

Give me waking up by choice and having a random rat attack any day...
Wife has to go to sydney for 1 day course, so I have to drive her... Its a 6hr drive so staying one night cause she needs to be rested as course starts at 9am.
So suddenly we are staying for 3 nights at 200+ per night for no reason I can tell other than "its sydney!!! ooooh shiny **** to waste money on"
And ofcourse its 3am, I went to sleep at 10pm because I have to work early in the morning and she's woken me up every hour since I went to sleep with some question or other about the extra days.

Well, it's going to be a long day. Walk into the office first thing this morning and BAM, 30 flight delays on the board already.

my friend gave me his pair of old canal-earphones, to replace my **** cheap quality Sennheiser (really REALLY **** quality for them.. plasticy and rattle-y.. disappointed.) anyway.. OMG. these things are so freakin' comfy and better. :D

also.. sleeping 15+ hours a day, this past week.. although i've been LOVING it.. according to my partner and doctor, it's TOO much. Changed my drug intake time from AM to late PM to see if that makes a difference. Don't want to be playing Drug Roulette if it doesn't work. bah.

Off to vote, what a waste of time. Some 20 odd candidates in my area that I know nothing about.

Add:

Also, Origin hasn't changed much, still as big a heap of **** as it was last time I was forced to use it:
