The printer ended up in a billion pieces, manged to put it back together today and printed something.
The top messed up though

I'm printing something else right now too, so hopefully that works out better.

The blue clear plastic makes the photos turn out weird.

Staying on Nusa Lembongan for the next five days. With the bar no more than five meters from the poolside, I think it'll be a pretty fuzzy five days.

Why is "the visible spectrum" the visible spectrum? What makes those wavelengths so popular for sight when surely (for example) predators who could see in the infrared would be far more effective?

I wish I knew more about physics and biology. But not enough that I'm actually willing to go and learn them.

Oh... after googling around a bit apparently it's because the way the cells that're involved with sight work - the "signal reception" becomes noisier as you move up into those longer wavelengths and infared sight would be a dodgy prospect at best. That's so disappointing.

Looong day over.

First we moved all our offcut aluminium onto a truck and sold it all as scrap. over 800 kilos of ends and bits of doors n stuff.

moved all our sash weights from place A to place B 1 meter away.- over a 500 kilo of them ****.

then did some weeding, glazing, made a little sash and delivered a bunch of stuff to people who wanted said stuff.

our baby girl is teething. which is ok, because she will one day have muscular teeth herself. its painful but worthwhile.


so, now i have 5mins free i have no idea what to do beyond drink this coopers extra stout.

if you want one ill squeeze it through the monitor for you..
