Another one bites the dust.. not the first and wont be the last the way things are going. I wonder if those in charge actually care that GoN has changed for the worse, or if they do care if they realize that. The place needs a damned good shakeup otherwise I suspect more and more people will leave - this place is already quiet.

Hmmm, I just read the PM that a mod sent you and I am a little confused as to how you think you are in trouble? I thought you were just asked to report posts in future.

All I read endlessly in the 'Amazing site' thread was how there was a lack of moderation on these forums. Now we have a moderation team twice the size it ever was, actively moderating threads/posts that do not fit within the rules, letting people know if they cross those rules or how to handle it in future etc, and all of the sudden people are not happy with us.

Ever heard the saying Damned if we do, damned if we don't because it honestly fits this situation perfectly.

Well the rest of your post is an opinion, one I decided not to rebut as I don't have the site statistics to back up my post. I agree the forums are certainly quieter, however if I remember a conversation I had recently the site is actually getting more hits per day. But again without actual stats to back it up it becomes a pointless argument, one I agree we are best avoiding

As for it being quiet, what in the world things are busier then ever. There is a significant difference between people who post and those who like to read the games.on.net forum (and the rest of our website), neither take preference over each other at the end of the day and we cater for both. Yes, that includes the silent majority of customers and members who love what we offer to bits.

It is possible for accounts to be deleted if requested, a politely worded request from our contact page (select general feedback) will ensure this is done promptly by myself or another.

I'm sure a few of us do read every single post and topic that get's created by our members on the forum. It's good to check out the view unread posts section and the rest of our website for new content to occupy your time .

On a personal note and rather fitting for this topic, It's been good to see quite a few of the original 20-40 odd members from our Node clan back on the forum lately. After 10 years, some old faces are nice to see

Nowhere near, but it's going for a different segment of the tablet market.
