Invisible players

Unread postby pjmcc » 24 Jun 12, 3:52 pm

Hi,
My friend and I just lost our 20day old characters (scoped rifles,GPS etc.) to an invisible player with a makarov. 10 minutes after that he got kicked for incorrect beta version? I also seen lots of people saying they have invisible chars? So i'm thinking it is because internode havn't updated the servers to any of the beta patches?

why ppl get attached to their stuff is beyond me

yes we know

im not going to ask the server guys to update the beta on a sunday
when another dayz update is incoming any day now

they have better things to do than spend all their paid time looking after an alpha mod

the servers will be updated when they are updated

(probably monday , if rocket releases 1.7.2)

Another DayZ update is always coming any day now :P

GON should have been smart enough to know what they were getting into by hosting DayZ anyway, so the excuses seem pretty weak considering how many resources they should have in comparison to other ISPs like Orcon and ON3.

If the admins are too busy to update the game then fair enough, but what's not cool is how you've renamed the server and removed the DayZ version that's installed on the server. It looks like you're intentionally trying to mislead players into assuming you're running the latest version, yet don't seem to care this is causing problems for players.

I wouldn't force anyone to work weekends, admins included
You be should sinking rums (or your choice of poison) around the barbie and then shooting noobs in your fps of choice.

And this is why I prefer your AUSARMA servers

Is it difficult or time consuming to update an arma2 server to the latest beta? Guess I'm just curious as to why internode have never updated.
