DayZ GON servers need updating

The latest files from Dayz (Code: V1.6.0.1 etc , 27 May) are incompatible with the GON servers running 1.5.8.4. Hope they will be updating soon or do I have to try and find older Dayz files.

They are updated, but I think the game name still has the wrong version. I'll fix that shortly.

1.7 is officially out, and requires manual updates on all servers. The Hive application has been completely redone, and join times have been significantly reduced (as well as players bugging out during the loading phase).

are yah sure? its not on the mirrors properlly and even the server mirror doesnt show anything

This seems to suggest that it's still in testing.

You have to troll the forums frequently to ever have a clue what goes on with this mod. Things are always changing, and they still haven't organized an effective way of communicating with server hosts.

1.7.0 has been successful. It is moving to a rolling update. It requires manual install for servers so it will take some time for this to appear on servers.

We have been getting an email when there is an upgrade to do, we haven't seen that email yet.
