good man. this is what we need more of - too many players are taking the easy targets ie. unarmed newbies. I reckon there needs to be atleast something positive that comes out of killing players who have high murder totals (ie bandits).

But I seek elevated positions to scout an area though :(

I wouldn't, latest ARMA beta patch deletes any magazines that are missing rounds, it's AKA as the "how neko ends up in golgovo with an empty m249 and an m107 that doesn't work at night >_< patch".

Really? I haven't found that. My STANAG mags (all 10 of them T.T) are still full whenever I login

I lost 3 200 rnd boxes and 4 stanag mags over the course of 4 different servers (thought the server was doing it), changed the patch back and havent lost any since.

That's 94209 though, haven't looked at todays beta version.

With my character still in play last night there was no chatter about snipers and only requests for help.
So I slung the rifles and spent the night travelling the coast dispensing morphine, blood and cooked food, and this really shows the depth this game has as 1 night you can be gunning away and the next night not firing a shot even though I stumbled across 2 people is the fading light.

Cute.

I might come shoot you.

I actually manage to survive for about 2 hours last night, found an axe and was looting a 2 story building in some town I was in and some random came in as i was about to leave and shot me in the face. Not long earlier i was scoping the town out on top of a building and I see a guy running across a field with about 20 zombies chasing him, absolutly hilarious.

Two lives today:

1. Was wandering around a completely abandoned cherno having a blast when I attracted a few zeds and retreated into a building and up stairs so I could pick them off one by one as they came through the door. After I'd killed about 10 or 12, a player walked through the door and I thinking it was a zed fired. He ducked out of view and I got on direct chat and apologised, easy to understand given all the dead bodies everywhere and he asked if I'd come give him a blood transfusion.

Sure I says, how do I do that? I take the blood transfusion from the pack, select it and left click to use it on him.. and shot him and killed him instead. All by total accident :(

2. My second life was much more productive, I got about 6 hours out of it straight, teamed up with a few folk here and there but just got ganked by too many zeds in a barn. **** barns, I have no luck with barns and I'm never going into another one again.

Barns are great, the zombies slow down inside it, and you can just run away....

We were stuck up stairs, one was injured and then we both ran out of ammo .. goodbye life.

LOL

I always have this everlasting belief in humanity...but playing DayZ tends to challenge that. I've been killed twice now by players...once just minding my own business and looting (didn't want anything) until I got shot in the back by some chick (or player with female body) - I managed to hack her twice with my hatchet. bit#h deserved it too lol. Second...I scored big from some dead body (AK, blood packs, food, etc) - only thing I didn't have was some matches...found a dead body on the road which I checked but nothing...slowly scampering away - YOU ARE DEAD! just like that...didn't even hear the shot. that pi$$es me off.

Did a full lap of the map today on bicycles starting on the south west corner, torched 3 tents, a tractor, a Land Rover and a bus all in mint condition (buh bye m14,maps,compasses etc) and probably **** up a few peoples day before it even started, some of them were stashed in no mans land.

Only shot at twice between Berezino and Kamenka, may have buzzed "muscularteeth" while blasting "Rollin Dirty" through direct chat... did Chernogorsk to "Bohemian Rhapsody" :hahaha:.
