I know that once I get a primary weapon and a pack, I stay alive for awhile usually, and end up dying at the hands of zombies because they break a leg, or gradually drop my blood down.

But when I die and respawn, I'll often die 2-3 times from a player(being caught with only a Makarov in the big cities trying to find a gun).

Once I'm kitted out though, I usually avoid them unless I'm shooting first.

That's interesting. My first death from another player in a city was today, when the fool tried taking me out (with my AKM) with a bare makarov. I spammed the damned thing at him, and took him down, but he managed to get me to bleed. If he'd been a better shot, though, I would have gone down, completely.

Hey gents who do I contact around here to get someone added to the ban list. Found a script kiddie on one of our servers. Quite a noob one I might add.

I have already submitted the ban to the dayz team however he can still join the server he just won't spawn (AFAIK anyway). A server level ban is much more effected.

Submit a trouble maker report at http://games.on.net/pages.php?page=tmr. That should get it to the admin team quickly.

ended up finding quite a few lol. Submitted them all. Will be submitting to the dayz staff as well so they can no longer play :)

battleye logs. It will log when a certain phrase/keyword is sent through a script to the server. Even though people think that setting markers or setting their blood back to full is a "silent" hack it's still passed through the server and ends up in the log :2gunsfiring_v1:. Then there is the more obvious ones like spawning RPGs.

cm. being that you do not have access to Games On Net server logs, how do you know they were using said cheat on Games On Net servers? ie, we do not ban for offences committed on other servers only our own.

Or have I misunderstood what you have said.

probably should have mentioned that I'm one of the admins who run ANZ1-4.

Seeing as dayz is sort of a "hosted for the community" mod I thought you guys may be interested in these players seeing as if I ban them from our servers they can just hop on yours straight away (until they are eventually "dayz banned" that is).

The offence has to occur on our server for us to ban them, so I would ask that when you submit your trouble maker report, please point out that it was not on a Games On Net server that the offence happened on and you are only submitting it so our Admins can keep an eye on said players on our servers.

But thanks for the heads up, I am sure our Admin team appreciates it.

Why are you not submitting them to the developers for a game ID ban? Then they're banned from EVERY server.

Anyone else struggling to get on the servers today, seems to just hang on "Receiving data".

Doesn't crash just sits there forever.
