I can't get into any server at the moment, just comes up with the 'creating player' screen and stops, sometimes it'll get to the loading screen after that and then stop.

That's odd, because I just connected to both games.on.net server's to check that they were working and had no problems.

Usually I find that the loading/creating character issues are tied to differing versions between the client and server.

Make sure you are running the same versions, or search for whatever version you are running in the filter.

I managed to get it working at about 11am today.

Joined the GON server and it was night time for some reason.

Probably because peak play time is 6-7 hours later, I would expect a daytime-prime oriented server to be very early morning (say, 1am) at 11am real time.

Accidentally vaulted off the top of Devil's Castle.

Lost a long-life character, Camo/NVG, DMR with 9 mags and assorted goodies.

I ain't even mad.

lol i have done the same . just stay away from anything stairs related now . **** me when sometimes your character just decides to sprint even when you are walking up/down stairs

Worse is when you try and prone on a rooftop and your guy decides to take a running dive...

Pretty happy with tonight.

The truck we lost on Monday night when Ori DCd respawned tonight when the server reset. It was missing the front tyre, so one of the guys and I grabbed our bus and legged it to the airfield where it had spawned. Found it, drove to the north industrials, found a tyre. Drove back, right when we got back, we heard someone shooting zombies behind the hangers, took about 30 seconds to manage to get the action menu to show the tyres, all the while this person is shooting away at zombies. (pulling them off us :D), finally fix the tyre, I jump in the truck, mate jumps in the bus, and we leg it out of there :D.

Look forward to more of our bus adventures next week :D

Just jumped onto ANZ1 to blitzkrieg my nearly-dead player... running through Elektro into the pub. I hear a DMR crack over my head fired from the sniper hill south of the power station, but he's a terrible shot. I hear flies inside so I'm thinking some poor coastal cutie got taken out...

Oh how I was wrong.

The sniper had taken out a Wookie on the upper floor who was carrying an M4A1 CCO SD, 8 mags, all survival gear and so on. Let out a smoke grenade to cover the doorway and proceed to insta-win. Run north to Berezino to meet up with Nomicakes to get a blood transfusion.

Not a bad 45 minute's work :P

Well had an awesome 2hr firefight today, three of us were heading to Pustoshka when we heard gunshots up ahead. Sniper sighted one, then two, then three guys. Took a snap shot and got a hit with his M24. Took another shot hit another dude. Neither died instantly though one did eventually bleed out. He had support from my mate with an Mk48 Mod 0 so was relatively safe. I worked my way round the back of the guys and promptly got shot from out of nowhere. Pretty pissed I charged back from Cherno to Pustoshka while two more of our friends tried to meet up with the two in the firefight. 10 mins later I'm back and crawling up to my body to get my stuff. Just completed getting it when a dude comes up behind me. I sneak off without him seeing me and rotate back around behind him and pop him in the back of the head. About the same time my two mates who were with me to begin with get sniped by an AS50 and die in short succession. I loot the body of the guy I shot and nab a L85A2 AWS which enables me to find my enemies pretty easily, just as one of the two who were trying to meet up with us gets to me. The other falls prey to the Sniper though. So 2 vs 2, seems fair. Bollocks. I head round to the left to try flanking again only to get lit up like a christmas tree by a dude with an M249. **** dead again. The guy who joined me did well though taking him out with the M107 he had. However the odds had gone badly against us as I found out when I died that it was actually 2 v 4/5. They had reinforcements too...

At that point I had to leave, however the others tried again and unfortunately all got wiped out. Best firefight I've had in days so far though, next time I'm bringing a weapon that suits my style and not an LMG...

Interesting night, Jez and I found a Huey inside the Airfield perimeter that only needed a rotor assembly and an engine, spent 40 mins + finding the engine only for it to turn back into a second rotor as I changed servers :(, luckily we found one not 200m away :D

Did a bit of a fly around, Cherno was burning, intended to land on the hotel roof to log for the night and when we arrive there's a death bugged guy on the roof surrounded by mountain dew (eww), landed for a looksee and scored me some camo.

I land like a pro on that little building while the whole place is burning and then right as we're logging out I spy a chopper crash and bork the landing in an open field :lol:, smashed our bird out of the stadium with a little bit of a hard touch in the final 2 feet. I don't remember them being so easy to damage :oops: .




side note: I'm rockin the crappy double digit Z kills in those screenies because SOMEONE :? accidentally had a grenade selected while trying out his new m4-ACOG.... "**** I THREW SOMETHING, RUN!!!!" and I pick the same direction as the nade :lol:

So my mate went hunting the guys who were shooting at the airfield. This was his story:

so the story is this
"I went back to the air field and somehow ended up in lopatino....(I know right. your like WTF?)
Anyway, I was on the dirt track towards the AF and I see them in the trees, two dudes, same guns, both had M4's i think the duped their gear. So I let them run by me then lined em up and shot one guy in the back of the head, that's fair XD. he dies and his mate logs out.

so i loot this dude, he had nothing special, I did take his tool box tho XD! and his military flash light, the other guy comes back and I get him to"

Remember kiddies, Ghosting never works out :P
