CS:GO key issue

Hey guys, hope this is in the right forum. Figured it should probably go here or CS:S (Maybe tech support?).

Anyway, I woke up today to a notification from Valve that I'd got into the beta - and that since it was more fun with friends, they'd given me an extra key to send out. I scoured my friends list and identified the recipient of this key, and went to send it...when it suddenly wasn't there. Anyone else having this problem? Know how to fix it?

Yes.. actually, just had that myself - didn't even know I was in the beta? Don't know how to find or install it

Edit: Try restarting Steam, that worked for me! I've also got the beta in my games library now, so I'm installing it.

I just noticed that in my steam library and as a gift item in my inventory; do they send you key via email or is it already embedded into the download as is suggested on the csgo forum ?

if its anything like the dota 2 beta your copy is automatically added to your library and any friend keys appear as copies of the game in your inventory.

you never deal with a "key" per se

I got in today too (no notification at all, i just noticed the guest pass), I guess they must have thrown out some Aussie keys.
