Now on to the good stuff.
I'd firstly like to thank all those that took part, be it competitors, admins, server/forum monkeys and the boys at SIN for everything they contributed. Also, those guys that we roped in at last minute to fill some gaps in the teams - THANKYOU!
Special mentions go out to Matty, Cozi, Bickety, Stingtwo, Meareheare ,Inspite (seriously - SIN were incredibly generous!),Cas plus anyone else I've forgotten! I couldn't have done it without you guys and I really hope you got something out of it too.
Overall the GoNlympics was a fantastic success. There were some stressful moments scraping together players but in the end every event ran smoothly, with some lessons learnt for future improvement! I met some guys that I hadn't really had any previous contact with and made some pretty good mates, all the while blasting them to pieces in the process! My personal highlights were Live For Speed and CSS as my team got dominated in TF2 and DoD:S.
