Yeah, I'm gonna draw the line with what we already have, and focus mainly on the source games and SCII.

I thought that you couldn't play RA2 or generals online anymore. Also Tribes Ascend is full free now isn't it? That should be added to the list although other genres probably need to be considered.

Pretty sure you can through some third party stuff. I think one I tried only had foreign players (not a surprise) so was laggy and for some reason only allowed 640x480.

Yeah but not many people would have Mount&Blade, and the people who don't play it regularly would get dominated by the good players, ie it would come down to the few who know what they're doing

As I'm sure people would do it anyway, I have no issue with people downloading unlocked profiles.

What's a CoD4 profile unlock? I haven't played it online yet, just SP.

Well you start with only a few weapons and perks, and unlock them as you earn points / get headshots etc etc. Huge advantage if you have stuff unlocked and custom classes. Can just download a profile with everything unlocked though.

edit: Anyone looked into Quake Live servers yet? Might have a cost.
