Dota Duo Combos

Dota Duo Combos

Unread postby ryceg » 30 Apr 12, 5:18 pm

Hey guys, I've been queuing in pubs with a friend a fair bit, and am looking for some Heroes that synergize well with each other. So far, we've had great success with

    *Pudge and Omniknight

    *Nature's Prophet and Lifestealer

    *Vengeful Spirit and Drow Ranger

What are some other good duos for some silly pub action?

I've had good goes with:

life stealer + spirit breaker (ls ults onto sb then sb charges)

juggernaut + venomancer/earthshaker

Juggernaut + Crystal Maiden / Shadow Shaman
Sandking + Lina/Lion

Pretty much any lane with a double nuke/stun
Or any lane with a slow + someone who hits hard

Bounty Hunter + Omniknight works well. BH invises, sits next to enemy hero, hits them from invis, gets healed for double nuke.

Dark Seer and Nature's Prophet go well together.

DS uses his ulti and vac, NP traps the whole team and all the illusions in a ring of trees, DS also casts ion shell, gg.

That DS chain is great with a lot of abilities, eg Enigma's Ulti

Honestly, is there anybody that Dark Seer doesn't do well with?

not really :P

that's why he's one of my favourites, not very item dependent, fun abilities and a good jungler so he makes a great addition to almost any team. I had a ridiculously good round with a mate playing Slardar once too, was just casting ion shell and surge on him and it was basically gg and that works with any good melee hero.

plus a good vac can ensure a TONNE of extra kills.

honestly, Dark Seer ftw. Only downside is they nerfed his ulti a bit, so much better when friendly heroes also created illusions

Yeah, I've been feeling the nerf too.

I've been having success with other illusion based cheese strategies, like Phantom Lancer, Shadow Demon, and Morphling. It's a stack of fun with that many Phantom Lancers running about.

Another great one is Beastmaster and Lifestealer. The Hawk acts as a dropship!

Ah, and Nature's Prophet and Rikimaru; the combination of the snare and silence is too stronk. I like to grab a Medallion of Courage to help Rikimaru hit hard.

Another darksear combo that is great for lols is ursa + darkseer.
I'm sure I don't need to describe how strong that is.

Darkseer is good with everyone. He can also solo like a boss and jungle.

In my opinion, the only Hero that outshines Dark Seer in versatility is Windrunner. They're both amazing Heroes.

I've never really got the knack of Windrunner, should keep practising though, she's pretty fun to play

Windrunner is tons of fun when you get the hang of her. Super versatile and powerful.

Yup, I play her so often my friends call her Wiferunner. She's very good at pretty much eerything, barring jungling.
