Legacy

Ive been playing a trooper through so far and Im itching to start an alt or 7, but I want to make sure I get my legacy in to start building it up.
Thus relates my question, I'm on level 27 and getting towards mid/end of Tatooine and still have not unlocked it. Can anyone confirm when the legacy system kicks in at all for trooper??
(I know its the end of Act one, im hoping end of tatooine is the end of act one??)

End of Act One, indeed. You'll probably want to be at least level 30 for it and the final part of Act One kicks off after you finish up on Tatooine.
Not going to spoil anything. But 27 isn't a level you want to try finishing Act One at. But you're getting close.

Ive been playing it slowly, doing pretty much every quest I can find so Im pretty sure that what I think is towards the end, is probably maybe only half way

Yes. One Legacy per server. If you play characters on another server you'll also need to do the unlock process there.
Which is cool if you're keeping your Republic and your Empire seperate, so you can have different legacies.

That is a good point, hadn't thought about it like that...that is good considering im empire now and when i finish, im thinking about starting a jedi

eh, legacy is pointless. So far up to legacy level 8 and it still doesnt do anything... By the time it does, i'll probably have all the 50's i want and be bored of the game :/

Well, I just finished Tatooine at level 28, and still no Legacy

Might be the end of the next planet. Sigh.

Is Alderaan before or after Tatooine? If it's after then... after the class quests there. Oops.
