So what do you actually think?

So what do you actually think?

Time to put your tiny reviewer hats on and lets hear it. Let's not get into huge long 4 paragraph posts, but just a quick run down on your likes and dislikes.

For me:
I like the group story content. When you're in a group all rolling and making choices on the lives of others it's a fantastic feeling. Huttball is fantastic fun, but only when you've got a good team. The crafting is great as well, you can really participate in it as much as you want.

I dislike the Jedi Knight voice over. It's very bland, and also I just can't find I look I really like with the armour.
I have since done Athiss and Hammer Station and realised neither of them are like Esseles, if this is the case for the rest of them then I am going to be really annoyed. Mostly because TOR proved it can deliver awesome story line dungeouns with Esseles but then just didn't do it on the others.

Love the storyline, Imperial Agent's voice over is bad ****. He even uses an accent when hes undercover!
Class felt a bit iffy being an operative and not speccing completely into concealment, since respecced and it plays much better.

Side quests are bland.

Freaking loving it though, dark side choices plus the dark side effects on your char are great. Lots of attention to details, definitely worth the cash.

It has completely exceeded my expectations so far, I'm hopelessly in love with it. The content is just amazing, but as stated, it seems BioWare totally dropped the ball on flashpoints after Esseles. Esseles was perfect in almost every single way as a flashpoints and was downright amazing to play through, but every flashpoint I've done so far since pales in comparison.
It has everything I expect from BioWare plus more. It's bringing back memories of those countless hours I spent in KOTOR, heck, sometimes I even find myself just reading the codex after finding more lore entries. The attention to detail is outstanding and I can only see things getting better as more content is added.
Subscriptions for TOR are going to become as common to me as eating and sleeping.

Doesn't um...DOESN'T INNOVATION! I've been playing (the same) MMOs for YEARS and ALL OF THEM EVER play like WoW nobody has ever ONCE done ANYTHING DIFFERENT! I know this because I spend all my time on TenTonHammer and MMORPG.com telling everyone I know it.

INNOVATION!

27 female operative (far more dialogue options and a more unique voice)

Combat: For my class it feels very satisfying, much less HP stacking on enemies makes your abilities feel like they actually do something and the sounds and feel of combat is just gorgeous.

Story: Really getting into it now, fairly intricate storyline hinting at some overarching issues in imperial intelligence. Cannot wait to get to the bottom of it!

Social: Take friends around on your ship, companions add uniqueness and extra mechanics, group conversations are fantastic making for some very funny outcomes.

Overall, 10/10 from me (played WoW, WHO to death) and this is a very polished and interesting game.

@Mr_cyberpunk: general chat peoples are really ticking me off too

I'm only level 4 on my first character but...

i rolled on Swiftsure and I play BF3 while waiting in queue. Usually too late and tired to play by the time I'm in.

I have a fat, blind, dark-skinned Jedi consular who wears a patchwork sheet on his head. I envisioned him being a stereotypical eff'd up gang banger who is essentailly good-at-heart but prone to snap-aggression and poor decision making.... i.e a good mammas boy heading to the dark-side.

His voice is too clean and reasonable - I want to be able to change it.

Really haven't played enough to comment but am on holidays from tomorrow....woot!
I have the body of an 18 year old.....I keep it in the "SANDBOX!"

I'm loving it so far.

I am a fan of no macros and add-ons but if they continue down that road I would like them to add more customisation options i.e. resizing and moving the current UI etc etc.

EDIT: A lot of people touched on side quests and I just wanted to add that a lot of the side quests don't feel like a grind IMO, some are but most of them aren't, you are disarming bombs to save lives here, running out gangs saving loved ones etc etc.

I bought it because most of my friends have it and there will eventually be "local" servers for us.

It feels like I'm playing WoW, but it's bearable because it's a different setting.

The player models look like absolute reskinned dogshit, but my character looks like Kyle Katarn so all is forgiven.

It's definitely nothing remarkable. I just can't wait to get into some kind of raid environment with lots of jedi.

Really liking it so far, it's def got that sequel to Kotor feel about it, which is fine for me. I much prefer this way over the wall of text quest stuff that I don't read.

PVP and Space Combat are somewhat interesting ways to play around on the side, but for the first time in an MMO I just want to get through the story. I'm watching right through it, it doesn't feel boring, I'm actually looking forward to going and right clicking on my master.

Agree with the general chat, it's pretty lol but bad at the same time. Chat was quiet and I said something about something where I used the word 'colour' wtih a U, sparked a 30 minute USA vs Aus conversation. Lol but fail too, because people were asking legit game related questions in the middle.

I bloody love that my eyes changed colour as I got more evil. Was awesome because I didn't like my eye colour choice anyways haha! 8)
