Preordered and applied code very early on the very first day it was possible. Early Access starts at 11pm here so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'm in the first wave. Not sure I want to wait however many hours while trying not to nod off in boredom.

Op, how did you pre order the dde on origin? I ended up buying from amazon because origin was barring and I heard people who used vpns to access it couldn't buy with an Australian cc??

Gave my Origin details to an American mate of mine, he bought it and I paypal'd the money to him .

I wanted the dde, but couldn't figure out how to get it, so got stuck with an amazon standard edition. I couldnt bring myself to pay $200-$300 for the CE. Dde seemed like some good middle ground.

Edit: I can't believe how hard bio/ea are trying to NOT take people's money. I have never had to try so hard to get a game before in my life. It's like "take my money!!", ea "no way! Be gone dirty Australian!"

I bought the CE edition I think same day it was announced in the US so hopefully I'll be getting in early too ^^

... site in end, canceled my amazon. Now I cant figure out how to sort out my early access since that's what I paid for (yesterday) so I'll prolly get an hours early access.For some reason my pre order details are still in the swtor website account page linked to amazon copy.

Yet Origin has 2 versions of the game listed there, one ready to play(CJS version) one says unreleased....(Amazon) so confused...
To make things even more confusing, I have early access from Amazon, even though I canceled it. Yet my CJS site early access key wont work. trying to get their customer service to sort it out, is like pulling teeth.

As i said yesterday, when you buy from amazon the early access and the actual game are 2 separate purchases, when you cancel it only cancels the actual game.
the early access code is still valid and on your account.

Because discussion of that site has been purposely added to the forum filter due to the reasons Cas mentions in that link.

Your bad experience with them currently just adds to the reasons why, and why I stuck with Amazon.

must have missed that, yer.... well in that case as long as the early access is linked to my new account, I'm happy...It seems to be so...

Edit I just read about the reasons for banning CD KEY sites. Fair enough that makes since. Yer, I don't know if they are genuinely ignoring me or what. But It was first time I've ever gone to a key site. Wont go to another. I usually like having the box anyway.

Emails will be sent to you when your early access period starts. They've not started being sent yet but it should start happening in about an hour.
