CoD MW3 re-using CoD4 MP assets

Someone on YouTube noticed something a little familiar about part of the MW3 SP campaign



This is what you get when you pump out yearly releases.

Not surprised. I'd be surprised if that was the only bit they'd recycled. To be fair if that's all people have noticed they've done a decent job hiding how much they've copy/pasted their old games and rebadged it as a new one (again).

to be fair, ive seen ALOT of buildings in bf3 that have been copy pasted from bc2...

There were a bunch of buildings copied from BC1 to BC2 as well.

Oh, by the way, IW have released 5 games between 2002-2011. DICE released 7, not counting BF1943, F2P games and large expansion packs.

IW have yes, but what about treyarch? You cant compare how many games in a franchies are released and exclude half of them just coz they're from a different developer..

The point is that DICE have a shorter development cycle than IW and Treyarch separately, and as we've pointed out the Battlefield series is even more prone to recycling buildings, but you don't see videos or threads being made about that.

DICE also have almost 300 staff while Infinity Ward have under 100.
