Voice Chat "Q"

Hello,
I don't know if it's just me, but I can't seem to spot, or use any of the sub voice options on the "Q" menu.
It's much easier to use that, than say, typing it out.

Any ideas?

How do you do it? I select Q, then what I wanna say, then hit my fire button. But, I don't hear ****. This is usually on GON/3FL servers. Others I haven't tried.

How loud do you have your sound? It's not that easy to hear.

I can hear other players saying "AT soldier spotted in xyz".
I can't spot anything, but on some occasions I can say thx over the q chat.

I do it exactly as you have described. Like i said it works for me, i'm able to call for ammo, repair, health etc perfectly fine. I stated that it works for me to help to distinguish whether its only affecting a few people or all.

hold Q -> move mouse over option -> release Q

it works.

you also have quick options e.g.:

in tank -> look at engi and press Q will call for a repair
low on ammo -> look at support -> press Q
as squad leader you can simply look at the flag and press Q to issue an attack/defend order

as said above, its usually quiet, but they will hear it

your icon will also change when you request items/repairs, in case they did not hear it.

I got it working. It turns out the Russian Edition - if you ever had it, the people releasing updates gave wrong instructions. I had to replace a few files.
The files I had never had the capacity for hearing any English voices.

Which patch was it? cdkeyshere and cjs have the right instructions as i've always heard them, they just aren't loud or really useful since people don't listen to them anyway.

You mean getting it for a reasonable price which meant that you got all of the content from release and didn't pay $80 (which didn't even come with everything anyway and there was a delay to get the content) to then pay another $50?
