It is just so satisfying getting a knife kill in BF3.

Except when it goes pear shaped on you. Nothing worse then releasing you left your gun at home and bought a knife to a gun fight

BAM! i was waiting for that. That's precisely what their role is. To sit from a far and spot, pick of enemy targets and provide Recon!

So why does everyone always complain about sniping pu$$ies and how they ruin the game blah wah wah?

Why? Cos we're all down there battling it out for a flag, full on exciting gun battle having great fun, losing it, getting it back, calling in reinforcements, etc, and some pu$$y sitting up on a mountain 500 m or more, takes a sip of his coffee and maybe a bite of pizza and snipes you. Hey we're all having fun down here, what you think your doing interrupting our game? Yeh sure maybe snipe for a few minutes here and there when its important or you just feel like it, but sitting way up there hiding behind your rock for 20 minutes or more must get really boring round after round. And it means one of us has to stop having fun, go up there and slit your throat. lol.

Which is happening a lot more after the latest patch, you'll press melee only to pull out your knife to stand there like an idiot unable to use it.

I love the TUGS ... ... it makes it so much easier for me to locate the snipers sitting up on the hill in Firestorm

I listen for the sound of the TUGS - and find the sniper who is nearby and usually in front of it - then circle round to their side and knife them as they completely ignore it...

THOSE guys are campers - and practically useless to their team - EVERY flag has somewhere you can hide out of their sight
