Great Vid, I still have BF1942 and the road to Rome expansion, although the video is missed something, BF1942 was developed from a game called Codename Eagle from 1999, I still remember it buggy as hell, huge glitches in the graphics where like a rock or shed should of been but it was fantastic you could fly planes drive tanks and buggy's

Yes that was awesome being able to sail the ships to different locations on the map, I remember once taking the aircraft carrier into the center lagoon of Wake Island and getting it stuck, being able to sink them with the big guns on the island was also a cool feature. 8-)

Made one attempt to parachute onto BF3 Armored Kill AC130 - but was out of bounds as soon as I exited chopper....

Looking at the circuits - they seem to move in and out of bounds so it's not likely to be useful - but it may be possible

Yeah same, I have them all plus the expansions for the games right through from 1942 to BF2, I have the current BF3, I don't have all the addons for BF3 though and all of them only for the PC. ;)

I still cant see myself ever playing another game like BF2 for 5000+ hours ever again that was just CRAZY. :dizzy:

Think I racked up 2500+hrs of BF2 easy over the years! and stopping when BC2 came out, and thinking about it makes me sad that i played that much back in the day. But hell it never got boring the whole time, and that wont happen again just don't see quality FPS getting let out anymore

& Slayer and his trusty knife, Only Beefer i had trouble knife fighting
crazy "spider censers"

never forget it

Yeah they were some good times in BF2, everything that has come since has been a pale reflection of what a truly awesome game that BF2 and what came before it was, the knife fights were fun if I saw someone with a knife out I'd honour the duel and pull mine and we'd go at it great fun.

god i'd been looking for this clip for a long time and this thread made me look for it on youtube, one of the funnest things about 1942.
I've got an MVP trophy from lan-x back in the day for 1942 i got awarded it for pretty much single handedly knifing the whole other team.
