I understand the purpose of autobalancing, but I think the autobalancer needs tuning.
I was just in a game of 64 player conquest, had a great squad who were following my orders. I was coming first and had taken the majority of the points with their help. But! Because I died when autobalancing was electing, I was pushed over to the opposite team and lost my awesome squad.
Here's how I think you change it (obviously you can disagree):
1) Run it less often, it clogs up the chat as it is. It runs like once a minute, that is WAY too often.
2) Don't rely on someone being dead for it to choose, i.e, select the player and wait until they die next or have a timeout and move onto another player if that takes too long.
3) Target players that have just joined, aren't squad leaders and are not being team players. What I mean by not team players is players whose points consist of actions that are normally taken to increase points, rather than to be a team player. I i.e, you have 2 players, one is getting sniper kills as a recon rather than using the SOFLAM/MAV, the other is playing assault and has healed and zapped enough people to make a dent in saving tickets, you would choose the recon sniper dude.
