ring consumer affairs , having your legal purchase made unplayable because or a forum post imo is a breach of your rights in Australia.

whether they reversed the decision is neither here or there.

make noise, and lots of it, else this kind of thing will be the "standard".

i'am bored of the game already tho after 2k kills and finishing the recon/support classes.

Some new maps would be nice, as the game flow and the enemy fire is becoming too predictable.

So playing a few rounds tonight, get a few good long rounds in and when I finish I notice I have an email.

Low and behold I have been banned again, strange thing though I hadn't been in their forums since before the last ban.

EA/Origin and DICE can all go take a flying F**kin leap.

I was hoping BF3 would give me something to play for a couple of years but it is definitely not going to be the case.

Hopefully someone that actually wishes to continue multiplayer gaming on the POS origin will take the issue up if they get banned and show EA that gamers won't stand for this kind of ****.
I personally am not going to invest anymore time with them.

Sony's Asian division has put a page on their website that contains information about Battlefield 3's first downloadable content Back to Karkand. The site lists Back to Karkand's release date on the PS3 as December 7th 2011. We know that PS3 will be getting Back to Karkand a week before both PC and Xbox 360, therefore one can conclude that the PC and Xbox 360 release date will be the 14th of December. Hopefully this information is true, because that would mean it's almost fragging time!

would've liked it now but here's hoping...Dec 14th aint that far away I guess. I'm interested in that little forklift...dunno...(think C4+forklift )

This gives a better idea of what the changes will be like.

If you are referring to PC, the patch has come and gone.

No PS3 had a patch, PC hasnt had that one yet. Pretty sure its all related to the relese of the extra maps, which PS3 gets a week early.

If you could get a source on the upcoming PC patch that would be great.

But we have already had the new squad menu and SCAR-H nerf in that patch, so we probably got that IR nerf too

No, the IRNV nerf is new. It didn't make it into the PC patch.

That seems to go beyond a nerf and more to pretty much patching it out.

actually it looks more like ordinary NV such as the one seen in battlefield 2 euro force...

which ironically made it closer to what it's description is, ie: for use in low light and night condition but not quite as accurate as to what thermographic camera is supposed to show...

but i am guessing it's the easier way out, to fix the IRNV properly it would have to show the background heat from various other objects and terrain...

presumably this takes quite a bit of work if they had to do it manually across all the maps with varying condition, much easier to just nerf it out this way with probably a mere few variables tweak.
