Well it seems as if Telstra will have the Galaxy SIII ready to roll in the very near futurehttp://smarthouse.com.au/Phones/Mobile/D7K5M8P6
And it seems they will have the HTC One aswellhttp://www.telstra.com.au/eoi/keep-info ... 4537792113
Aside from the X having 32gb and the XL 16gb memory, and the XL having "LTE:
Asia/AUS: 1800/2600 MHz" (i have no idea what that is)
are their any differences between them?
Ok, I have educated myself.
the X has twice the memory and quad core processor (to the XLs dual) and the XL sacrifices this to provide 4g network capabilities. So it looks like Telstra will pickup the XL and not the L, to capitalise on it's 4g network.
For me though, 4g is not a big thing, as my phone is far from being my primary device and I am not sure how good 4g coverage is in perth anywho, since I no longer work or live near the CBD (well, ~10km as the crow flys) it does not hold that much attraction and the quad core and memory sound much sexier.
The Galaxy SIII I have not really read up on, but damn it looks sexy.
