I just got mine this arvo, mostly sold out in perth but everyone forgot about my local harvy norman and they had plenty in there, think mine was the first they sold.

Yet to really play with it as I have been at work for last 8 hours, favourite thing so far is the full auto camera (must be like 5/6 shots a second) and the fact you can take photos while shooting video.

Its weird getting used to no menu button and the unlock swapping sides from the Desire HD.

The screen is just amazing, just everything feels so smooth, the DHD is good, but this is brilliant. Nowhere near as fat or heavy as the Desire either.

and as a bonus, no more vodafone! yay.

How do you make more of those little app popout boxes? there is one by default on my home screen, I want more!

EDIT: Figured it out, drag a app on top of a app and it creates it.

awesome, more space for widgets on my other screens :D

heh, the unlock button swapping sides has been killing me! :P

I cam across my first problem last night, but nothing serious. Still not sure EXACTLY what happened tho. I use the Agenda widget on one of my home screens. If you add a birthday to a contact, it gets added to the agenda. BUT if you add a birthday and quit that and go straight to the agenda widget, it will try and update and then crash, restarting sense.

Tried again this morning, but added the birthday then did something else before checking the agenda, and it was fine. Strange little bug.

Cheers for the creating a folder tip tho, hadn't worked that out yet.

Still having trouble getting the Optus bloatware to work - I'd ditch it all, but I guess I want to see what it is first to see if there is functionality I like.

Loving Dropbox (used it before, but only sporadically). Got my DHD connected to the computer to transfer stuff off. So backed up SMSs on that, dragged it to the dropbox folder, opened on the One X, grabbed from Dropbox, restore backup, hey look, all my messages! That made me happy.

I've just ordered mine, decided to buy it outright instead of wasting my contract if the SGSIII comes out and beats the One X.

Install Sense 4.0 on my Incredible S to get a feel for it, once it's been rooted and S-OFF'd then I hope someone begins working on an AOKP or CM9 ROM for it.. Would be a beast with stock ICS.

What plan are you on there Slaine? Is it only on like a $60+/month with optus there?

I'm on $59 Optus plan. Also if you sign up to any 24 month contract at harvy normal they give you $100 cash!

Other things I miss from gingerbread is having the app box in the pull down menu and the quick options for all your data services

Yeah, I miss that data switching functionality too. I'm hoping there is an option buried deep to fix it. :P Till then, the old style panel on one of the screens.

SpEEd_NiNjA, I'm on $59 per month with Optus, but I went 12 month rather than 24, so have a $27 a month handset fee. meh.

I am without signal at the minute (stupid work), so will try later on! Could be a quick fix! :D

My preference lies with this app for those types of shortcuts.

that looks pretty. Does it work for the notification box though?

I just spent today organising all my contacts, linking google to facebook etc, phone all tidy now :D

Judging from the screenshots on the market you can, but I've not done it so I can't comment.

Edit: For those interested, here's a link for rooting your HTC One X
