Failed to Login error

Unread postby Dodys » 11 Aug 12, 4:36 pm

Tried to log into Minecraft.games.on.net and keep getting an error code.
Can anyone shed some light on my problem?

Error says Failed to login: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: http:/session.minecraft.net/game/joinserver.isp?user=(myname)&sessionID= (with a heap of numbers) &serverid=(alpahnumeric numbers again)

Thankyou if you are able to help

My kids aren't very tolerant of "Dad can't fix this" - so when the login server goes down I set the server to online-mode = false and rely on a whitelist - not as secure as minecraft login authentication - but good enough for the time it's needed

Even with the whitelist, offline mode means ANYONE can log on claiming to be someone on your whitelist. Better to use one of the alternate authorisation plugins if this is a public server at the very least. Best to just wait for Mollstam to work out what broke.
