for the love of ****..... this version removes crafting table 3...

So Hydra if I could humbly suggest this plugin:

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/quickbench/

crafting table 3 was one of the things that makes tekkit great imo and a total pain without it ;)

Hmm, I think it was removed due to some bugs/exploits.

Might check the tekkit forums first.

Yeah as far as I can tell it was removed mainly because it allowed people to craft things that were blocked, so people shouldn't have been able to craft them.

This quickbench thing is similar and just a suggestion for an alternative that I found browsing the tekkit forums about the crafting table III.

The worst part is it removed the table and whatever was stored in it at the time!

Not to be a pain (I totally am) But the links in the first post link to versions that have been released later, are they compatible with the server if I get the latest one?
Forge for instance has 'recommended' and 'latest'. The list of mods to install link to mods with mods themselves to install O_o.

Is it possible to get Worldguard put on this in the next revamp? I just lost two days worth of work as some morons just came and Destruction Catalsyt'd my house. -_-

With crafting table 3, i see no reason for you not to read it hydra since you have blocked no items therefore any exploits with it are invalid as we can craft everything anyway. Besides it makes it so much easier to make anything and everything

If you're using the official technic launcher, before logging in, pick options and set the build to "3.1.1 latest" it should work.
If not just clear the cache and let it re-install all the mods.

If you're doing your own modding - you're on your own. ;)

Edit: Struck "latest" as since I posted this 3.1.2 was released.

tried both 3.1.1 and 3.1.2, both have errors. 3.1.2 gave the incorrect tubestuff version error (says I need 49.1.1, auto update gave 49.1.2) and setting it to 3.1.1 gave me an incorrect forge version error

Early in the evenings I'm starting to see noticeable decrease in (what I presume is) tickrate: pressure plates not finishing, redstone not switching, water not flowing. I'm not sure if this is a recent phenomenon as I've only been on for about a month now. The suggestion from in-game chat is it could be caused by excessive chunk-loaders.

Is there anything we players, or the admins, could do to combat this? If it is chunk-loaders, perhaps it's possible to limit them or auto-clear them every few days so we don't get a buildup of forgotten loaders? I'm not sure what's possible here.

this might help with lag, a bit: http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit-3-1-2-is-now-out/

update to 3.1.2

disable "world anchor"s completely

3.1.2 includes a new item which is essentially a chunk loader but it is limited to a certain number of chunks (definable I believe) per player in SMP

other than that, educate people not to use buildcraft pipes in a way which will spew items out

also mining turtles and quarries I believe cause excessive lag.
