Available Player Commands

Hey Minecrafters

Just thought I would inform you the commands that are available to you as players thanks to the dedicated server guys (Hydra and Frostey) who have done wonders with the minecraft server.

/help - shows the available commands in-game to players.
/sethome - sets your spawn point when you die.
/home - takes you to your /sethome spot.
/kit tools - gives you iron tools if you are desperate.
/warp - to show available warps, add the name after to warp to that location.
/back - teleports you back to where you last teleported from.
/list - lists all players (holding Tab works as well)
/me - lets you emote. (eg. /me loves minecraft would be Giblet1 loves minecraft)
/suicide - Kills yourself. In case you get stuck ect.
/afk - Sets you as Away from Keyboard and will cancel when you talk or move.
/helpop - type your message after to send a private message to all admins asking for help.
/ignore persons name - Puts the person on your ignore list so you no longer see anything they say.
/tpa - tpye the name of a player to teleport to them if they accept.
/tpaccept - accept a teleport from a player.
/tpdeny - deny a teleport from a player.
/rg addmember areaname playername - adds a player to your protected area so they can build and access chests (you can check areaname with string by right clicking on a cube)
/rg removemember areaname playername - removes a player from your protected area so they cannot build or access chests anymore
/rg flag areaname creeper-explosion allow/deny - stop creeper explosions from damaging your stuff
/rg flag areaname enderman-grief allow/deny - stop endermen from stealing your stuff
/rg flag areaname tnt allow/deny - prevent TNT damage
/rg flag areaname lighter allow/deny - prevent people setting your place on fire
/rg flag areaname farewell message - a message for people leaving your region, use %name% in the message to include the players name.
/rg flag areaname greeting message - a message for people entering your region, use %name% in the message to include the players name.

Are these commands part of the actual client or do you need a mod to make them work? My friend runs a server and some of those would be useful.

they're part of the server's bukkit mod.

No, /rg is actually part of the WorldGuard addon which you need bukkit to run. For your friends server, look at essentials, WorldEdit & WorldGuard just for a start.

Ok. We have it working now, right clicking with string on the ground will show the region name. Also, users can use all the commands in the original post. The name of the permissions had changed with meant that it stuffed it up.

Also, where it says areaname it does not mean type areaname it means type in your region name there instead.
So for example if I wanted to put creeper-explosion protection on, and my region was called Miss, I'd type

/rg flag Miss creeper-expolosion deny

Also, you can not change your settings on you [World] region while you're in the nether, end, flatworld, pvp or whatever else, to change the settings on stuff, you need to be in the same world as the land you're changing the settings on is located.
