Okay, I've connected the two tunnels .. I think it's about, what, 1400 or so long .. need to clear it out into a proper 3x3 the whole way (done 80% or so already) and then to rail it all up.

When I was 100ish blocks from connecting the two tunnels, I hit that "moment" when it was all worth it. When I got to 50ish blocks, I just wanted to kill myself for thinking this was a good idea hehe.

Tomorrow, and it should be clean and ready to place track. Thanks for pre-existing mines (and looted track), we should be able to get it all laid down. I have fraps loaded up, and will make a vid once we're good to go.

The endless desert around town inspired me to build something with a spanish colonial style.

Working on a tunnel.

A long, long, long tunnel .. trying to link together two continents via a rail system. So many diamond pickaxes destroyed (sobs) ..

I've been working on something similar, a giant bridge to connect two land masses.

So far it's 6 blocks wide and about 550 blocks long. Having to build the support beams ended up using way more cobblestone than I expected. I've added about 400 minecart tracks to it, hoping to make it go all the way

It's going to continue in a straight line until it hits the land mass on the middle right. After that I'll decide if I want to just make it keep going or stop it there.



Someone on the server went exploring one night, from the bottom left all the way around in a loop to the top right and then back to our base.

that santa sleigh is some nice work, in fact the whole of gon town is looking pretty awesome, I'll have to leave my hole in the ground and come visit sometime soon.

personally , and i know im not alone in this
but i think gon town is getting too cluttered
and looking more like a nintendo ad than a town

in 2 days the amount of statues that went up is crazy

if yah gunna buid any more spread them waaay out i say

Yea Ball0fire, I've been meaning to spread them out as admins can cut and paste them to move them. Will probably make an island for the bigger ones and leave a few around the town.
