Assuming 1500 points cost $29.95AUD as it does at most stores and online from Xbox Live Marketplace, 1200 is therefore roughly $24AUD.

$24 AUD = $23.77USD right now.

$16.99USD is the line for me for. Anything above that is a bit overboard for a few maps.

I don't think they'll get away with charging for the maps on PC with the whole dedicated servers thing as server admins would just choose not to run the new maps due to the community split that charging for them causes.

See AVP for an example of how charging for MP maps splits up a community.
