WTF is a sniping nerf? What do you actually do with the sniper rifle for it to qualify as a nerf?

I'm assuming that you know what a nerf. In Black Ops snipers are much harder to use than previous cod games. It takes longer to scope in, most of them are 2 shot kills and noscopes only happen by fluke.

Currently I'm averaging about 3-5 seconds from seeing an enemy to killing the enemy. In mw2 I could do a fast hardscope (with sleight of hand pro and stopping power) and kill the dude in about 0.5 of a second. This means that the enemy has a lot more time to react and they quite frequently kill me before I get them. One way to stop this is to camp more but I just run around with my secondary and switch it out as often as I can. Then, my sniper becomes my secondary, and I only use it when I think I can get a kill with it.

Basically the sniper nerf in Black Ops means that you will not have fun using them.
