Server Creation

Hi Guys and Gals. Im investing in a dedicated box for a black ops server and wanted to ask a question about it...

I've been told that you need 'special permission' to host one from activision. Is this the case ? and how would i go about getting said permission ?

GameServers Offer all black ops servers world wide. You have the option to rent one locally in Australia via them or contact them directly to discuss alternative options.

I was more alone the lines of renting a white box from http://www.web24.com.au and hosting it on there, that was i have full control over the box and what else is running on it. Is there a server setup program i use or is it hard coding to get it running ?

Im not worried about the price, just wanted the dedicated box as we can run out websites off it as well as the Black Ops server.

You can't, The only people with access to the dedicated server code for CoD:BO are GameServers.com
