Even if it was $30 a month, I'd still pay.

How long does it go for?

And would it be alright to play with a keyboard? Or do you strongly recommend a wheel or controller?

not worth getting for keyboard

however if you buy it, it will make you buy a steering wheel

Actually - you can't play it with a keyboard even. It wont let you :P

you can use any analogue controller - in theory. but it would be hard as 2 week old **** :D

Welcome aboard mate, hope u have fun in iRacing.

imo, yes iRacing has got it all over rFactor, with the driving factor being iRacing's accessibility and netcode; i still cant belive i can race Euros with no noticeable lag + the car, track and physics model are pretty damn awesome as well.

u are going to need a wheel to enjoy this game :)

*EDIT*
Grab one of these to get an iRacing sig :)
mclaren7703 wrote:Hey guys, i decided to find an easy way for us GoN iracers to find each other, with a small non intrusive sig link (example in my sig).

To have a link to your iRacing profile, for easy access by other iracers, simply use the following in your sig..(obviously these links only show data to iRacing members)

Code: Select all

Note the "custid=36036" .. here you must put your own custid number, to link to your own profile. (easy way to get it is to right click on your helmet in a "race results sheet" and copy link.)

Welcome to the party mate - my only advice is to be patient, look at this as a long term game. If you're anything like me, it'll be a while before your first victory. Then again, I doubt you're anything like me
