I had good fun with Mellie the other night. Was good to be able to have a good natured competition over TeamSpeak, and also to ram into him a few times

Really looking forward to building up my skills and entering some races.

Last race was pretty epic;

Was busting for a pee at the start, so by the time I got back, I had to start from the pit lane... *head desk* From then on I charged through the pack - got caught behind the dude in 2nd for about 8 laps, where I eventually got past cleanly. By this stage, I was catching the leader by 1 second/lap. Last lap; I was 1.6 seconds behind leader, coming out of T4, he went wide and slid in front of me. I dodged, and passed for my FIRST WIN

Anywhoo.. back to racing


Last race: was leading from start - Lap 18 - internet decides to drop out. Rejoined only for the game to keep freezing......

Bah!!!!

Been in iRacing since 2009, and it had to happen at somepoint ... I was the cause of a turn 1 lap one multicar crash!

Was my first day racing the Star Mazda (I've hated the car previously so avoided racing it) .. did a race in the morning, started 13th, finished 5th, no incs..very happy. Did another race, and flopped out mid race by myself. But the 3rd race is going in my sin bin...

Started 8th of a full 20 car grid, got a nice start and headed off to turn through T1 at Mosport, touch the first kerb to the left side on exit, which instantly spun me right, back across the track into the oncoming field ..chaos happens.. (think SPA '98, where DC loses it out of turn 1, and race is red flagged)



I've always dreaded the thought of this, and been thankfully I've never caused one previously...ego/pride now suitably bruised
