Melbourne F1 2011

Just thought I'd post this in here with fellow iRacers! Got my tickets!! 4-corners Jones package for next year.

Have been wanting to go to Melbourne for many years and have always put it off. Last year was closest but ended up choosing to go to the UFC in Sydney instead heh. Anyway having been to Adelaide & Monza, I'm going to be adding Melbourne to my short list.

Anyone else interested or going next year? Probably be the best time to try see Webber win at home as well. Will have to do think about going again 2013 when they reintroduce the turbos. Hmmmm

Id love to be there, but as a WA'er its just too far to make it easily. I do have a brother in living Melbourne that i could stay with etc, but he will be over here in WA at time of GP, so miss out there too lol. Im hoping for 2012 at least!

When it gets closer, let's get a confirmed list of attendee's and arrange a meetup at a beer-tent

Yeah that sounds like a plan, should be sweet. I really do miss the sounds of the V12 screaming around Adelaide though heh. Atmosphere at a race is still awesome though

i will be there, cant wait, will be my second melb F1. hopefully wont be a scorcher.

So do we have plans on all meeting there at some stage at some particular spot all wearing some strange thing that only us GoN iRacers will know

Sigh, me too. I remember my first live F1 experience, was just a Friday practice here in Adelaide, one of the Benettons came by and I was like "OMG this rules!" and was totally blown away.

Definetly keen for this, although I'll only go for the sunday. Thats if tickets haven't sold out before i get around to buying them.

Bah, can only get on the final corner stand with a single day ticket for the sunday. Beats general admission anyway.
