So I was in Brisbane today just wandering around, which I've never really been in the city to do, so I hadn't really seen a great deal of it. Anyway, I had found a website listing sites of SFIV arcade machines, and I found there was one on Albert St. So I head there today around 12-12:30 with my friend and we walk upstairs to find a group of guys playing Street Fighter. We were all like "woah, sick" and sat down to watch, and much to my surprise, it was actually Super Street Fighter IV. So I went and got a card and eagerly awaited my turn. When I was up, I picked Bison as usual and, although I'd never played on an arcade machine before, I'd read enough to know what each of the buttons was. So I played, and got this guy playing Ryu down to around half health both times when he killed me. So I went to sit back down with my friend and the people there were telling me that that guy was No. 1 in Brisbane and I was pretty stoked I did that much to him. We left after watching another 2-3 matches, but it was great finding out about it.
So that's the story of me discovering a SSFIV AE machine in Brisbane, and I will get back there as often as I can. Has anyone here SFIV on an arcade cabinet? I encourage anyone with even a passing interest to try.
