Server Updates

Just thought I'd drop a note letting the admins know the GON KF servers have been out of date, and as such, unusable, for quite some time.

Servers are all updated and people are using them

Good to see. As an addendum, though not entirely necessary, the maps kfintro.rom and kf-menu.rom should be removed from rotation, as they are placeholders for the game's loading movies (Tripwire Interactive etc) and the main menu.

Are these maps loaded on every server or just a few?

Just trying to track down the issue

It was present on the Long/Hard server last night - doesn't seem to be there now.

Hrm, keep an eye on it and let me know I just looked through the map list on server one and couldn't see anything.

That being said, I only had 5 hours of sleep last night and my morning coffee wore off loooooooong ago....

Hey thanks for sorting this out! Love a bit of Killing Floor every now and then and was wondering why gon servers weren't working. Now I know where I'll be looking for a game first.

Hey there was another update yesterday to remove the xmas stuff and now the servers aren't working again

Not sure if you fixed the issue, I haven't been on the GoN servers for quite some time since i now run my own servers, but I'd make sure that the servers are using a maplist, if they are not, they will use any map with a .rom extension in the maps folder, this includes the menu.rom and intro.rom (acutally i think intro.rom may have been removed by TWI)

a giveaway that the server is not using a maplist is in the map vote you'll see the mapname with the extension
