Starcraft 2 lagging on Korea Server

Hello all! I'm not sure how active these forums are, but I have been directed here by Internode.

I have been having problems recently. On SEA I get extremely long searches, and I do not enjoy playing on NA with delay, but I love Korea. Recently, within the last 2 months, Korea has started to lag for me. Korea has always had similar delay to NA, but the practice is much better and there aren't BM assholes ofcourse . The lag that has started are spikes - every 2 to 5/6 seconds, a lag spike occurs that makes it near-unplayable or at least not enjoyable.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this recently, and if someone may know a fix?

I haven't had it myself whilst playing on Korean Servers.

I'm with iiNet though, so that's a factor.

Perhaps run a tracert to the server and see what result that yields.

good chance you'll find a few Australians that play on KR.

if you are able to tracert to the servers, let us know what the results are. I remember trying to get proper ping results from NA and SEA but couldn't get them. granted, I only tried for a few minutes, but I'm still curious.

Don't really have a fix for you unfortunately, but my household is on node and I get a solid 180ms ping on KR. On SEA I get 260+ and on NA about the same, go figure D:

Oh and about the BM assholes, pretty much every english speaking player I've versed has BM'd me the hell out of me. Thankfully, they are all terrible and you stop versing them after awhile, but leaves us a bad rep to the koreans .
But yeah, it's excellent practice.
