Anyway back to the original point of this thread, you can hold a decent 4gate with a couple of spine crawlers and a fair amount of lings. If you want to be super careful get 3 spine crawlers because zealots do chop them up pretty quickly. It is utmost ESSENTIAL that you have speedlings for the mere fact of mobility. If you can sneak even 6 lings into their probe line you will hurt their 4gate SO bad the attack will be over before you know it. Also with speedlings, if they have many zealots, your spine crawlers will die substantially quick so you run the speedlings at stalkers to bring the zealots back. You need to keep the zealots from hitting the spines for as long as possible.

and don't run your **** out past the spine crawlers. if i can split off your army from your spine crawlers with some carefully placed FF, i win.
