23" IPS monitors - recommendations?

What do you guys recommend for a 23" IPS monitor for gaming?

I'm personally looking at the ASUS PA238Q but I'm not sure how suited it would be for games.

Dell also has a 23" IPS monitor but the response time is 8ms which I'm a bit iffy on (the PA238Q is 6ms which I could probably get away with).

I've checked Samsung's website and they don't appear to do any IPS monitors from what I can see.

Samsung have a range of PLS screens which is pretty much the same thing as IPS (there are some very slight differences). But personally i recommend the dells, I'm using 2 dell24's and a dell27 and love them

I picked up a dell U2312HM last year on one of their sales and think its an awesome piece of kit for the price. i play all my games on it too and it wont break the budget. I ran a calibration on it and found that nothing needed changing out of the box. I use it primarily for editing in Lightroom.

There is probably more on the market now but if you see one of their sales you can get a good deal. (Got mine for $187 on special)

I've got a Dell U2311H that I used as my main screen for a few months, before relegating it to a secondary in place of a U2711. I honestly never noticed any motion lag. I'm not a HARDCORE FPS player, but I do play a decent amount of TF2, CS: GO, BF3 and a heap of others, and I never found the monitor to be of any hindrance.

I'll keep the U2312HM in mind. Just need to wait for one of Dell's sales as I don't need it straight away.

yah, sooo many people have been gushing over its little bro the 2312, it tends to get over looked. wouldnt mind a 2410, but $$$$ still think a S27A950 is on the cards for me tho... sigh need a new monitor.
