Yea the alienware range might have something, but compared to what he put up there isn't much of an improvement at the same price range

Another +1 for PC Case Gear from me, although i have never bought a build system from them just components. I enjoy building my own, but probably because i was brought up on Lego

In almost all cases a pre-built machine from a reputable computer shop is going to be better for the price and more upgradeable than anything you can get from a major supplier like Dell, HP, etc.

The only time I'd consider a major brand for a personal computer is for warranty reasons, but look into that as some are better than others.

If it was me, I'd be going to PCCaseGear, Umart or similar.

Thanks for all your great comments guys......................my decision is to forget about the dell completely and either get one built or build another one myself.

I looked at all your comments in detail and all you guys are right, so thanks for that, and thanks for the info.

I haven't checked the shipping prices on PCCG pre-built systems...
But you will generally be able to save a bit of dosh in terms of shipping going with EYO. http://www.eyo.com.au I believe they charge a flat-rate $50 for system builds, you can choose either one of their specs, or your own.
Besides that, they also ship via Star-track. Which means you will have it overnight :)

I saved a good $100 buying a case from EYO rather than my initial choice of PC-case-gear. And it was all shipping costs.
