I haven't seen RF out on a TV at all! Closest I can think of is RF passthrough on a VCR :\

Dare I ask why you need RF in and out? :P

My current setup is a Hisense TV that RF goes in and then out to my Astone 360T HDD Recorder (which only has an RF in).

Alas, my Hisense TV is dying and I need a replacement, if the only TV I can get has RF in, I would have to use a splitter on an already weak signal that has already been run through a masthead amplifier to boost the signal.

You can always get a powered splitter e.g. http://www.academytv.com.au/products/Ki ... 2-Way.html

You cannot use a booster on a booster, I ask the television antennae install guy about this.

Suggest you get a new antenna guy then..
Nothing is stopping you putting a booster and a distibution amp on the same line,
Just dont put them close to each other..
booster at antenna -> loooong arse cable -> distribution amp -> short as possible cables -> tv's.

Yes putting the amp's close together WILL cause problems, overload and/or oscillation.
As long as the cable length between the amp's is sufficient you can put two in line.

Is it possible to buy a TV with built-in PVR (with twin tuners, so I can both watch and record at the same time) :?:

I haven't seen any around. The closest you get is a single tuner with USB support. Maybe someone can correct me but i work at a fairly large electronics retailer and haven't seen any come through.
