Port Help

Unread postby v4moose » 20 May 12, 10:19 pm

Was hoping someone with more knowledge than me could help me out.

I'm trying to host an FSX server which requires certain ports to be forwareded to my machine. I've got a port check program (which came with the host software) to check the ports but everthing is broken. Check the pic below for the problem and the way i have things set up.

Any ideas?

Physically, i'm connect via a wireless card, into my router, direct to the internet.

Thanks

Have you disabled the windows firewall?
Are you running the server while checking the ports?

Portforward.com and just find your router for a guide.

Despite windows firewall being disabled, it still blocks ports. Just check and check again that all of the ports are open there. If you're still having trouble, it may be due to your ISP blocking said ports..

Strange, if you don't have it running when the ports are checked it won't find them open if there's nothing using them. :|
