I used to own a 27-inch iMac, so yeah, I know exactly what you mean about how nice all the space is for day to day computing
The damn thing couldn't run games worth a damn though.
If I can SLI my GTX 560 Ti with another one and get workable performance, I think I'd go down that route.
@MCUD - I assume you're using the Dell Ultrasharp 27-incher? I've heard reports that the input lag is a bit terrible, have you noticed that? I currently game on a U23111H which has I think a 5ms response time and it doesn't affect me, so I doubt it'd be a problem.
This is sounding very enticing. I've moved back home after renting and so am expecting a decent sum of cash back from my rental bond, and have been putting monet away into tax so I'm expecting a big return too, this could be exactly what that goes to
Another question, at such a high resolution, is AA really necessary? I imagine the pixels would be so small at that point it would almost make the performance hit of AA redundant.
