In the end your comparing two completely different systems with uses that can vary in massive ways. It comes down to personal preference and weither your a tinkerer or a simple person.

I'm not fazed by these 'Pro Android' types, I myself am currently using a HTC Incredible S and a Motorola Xoom as my devices but.. THAT SCREEN.

I don't know, I find my 1st gen iPad screen to be sufficient...

If I was stating fact then I would start like this:

"Fact is Apple have been innovative here and done things that hasn't been done by others yet".

^ Which by the way is kinda fact because nobody has put such a display on a mobile device before, nor graphics power on a CONSUMER (I know that there is better but guess what, not for consumers yet!) avaliable platform.

I highly doubt that no device that it is used in has even come close to the level of optimisation that Apple has thrown at it, coupled with the display resolution that it's dealing with. Its like comparing the Eagle Lander to your Watch.

The fact you're asking yourself that question should answer it at the same time. You don't. A new screen and a new camera and a little more GPU power is nothing to write home about. I'm not anti apple(I love my iPhone), but this every year thing that people get so worked up over is ridiculous. They could have kept it the same as the iPad2 but made it pink and people would still rave about it and buy it in droves. Sheeple will be sheeple.

I wanted a tab. And, I still do kinda, but I don't know what I'd even use it for.
My girlfriend got a galaxy Tab and it was fun for the first week or so but now it just sits there. If need to do anything I'll use my laptop, and if I really need to do something on the go I'll just use my phone, which has the same functionality as an iPad.

If you'd use it then go for it, but I struggle to find situations where I'd use a tab.

i just sold my laptop which got very little use. so i got all this cash, and a void that could be filled with this version of the ipad
