HEHE. Well... i thin your 6500 was a bit optimistic. From everything I have read it is atleast :)

P6050 PERSONAL RECORD! New Drivers. SOOOO HAPPY!!!

Been benching a bit, comparing to my Bro inlaws rig that I just built for him

i5-2500k @3.8GHz 1.375v
GSkill DDR3 @1600 9-9-9-24 8GIG 2x 4GIG
ASUS GTX570 OC DirectCUII
Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3

A bit dissapointing actually!!!
PERFORMANCE PRESET: P5706
EXTREME PRESET: X1843

Still CPU stress testing Bro inlwas new rig, then time to OC the GPU to get more out of it. I figure BF3 will handle better and play better then ia m expecting and what the 3dmark results show. If it does not do better then MY rig, I will LAUGH and be very embarrassed - and wont tell him hes just got new gear and wasted his money.

Ended up finding why his rig was performing badly... the shaders was clocked to like 260mhz for some silly reason. Quick load up of the OC utility and reset to stock settings and it cranked past 7000 points - much better!!!

Just got my hands on a Gigabyte 7970 OC Windforce 3X card
and this thing is amazing

i can say without a doubt, i made the right choice getting rid of my Palit GTX580 3GB SLI cards

Running idle at 34-36 and it didnt go over 56 degrees during 3DMark11 benching

56 Degrees at 48% fan speed

vs

GTX580 82 Degrees at 82% fan speed

Score with the 7970

OC @ 1200 / 1600
